2:1-4
2:1 What are these people doing?
How does it differ from those approving in 1:32?
2:3 What kind of judging is being exposed and condemned?
*According to these verses, is all judging wrong? (Compare with James 4)
2:3-4 Paul gives one or two ways these men might think about God. Name them (3-4).
** Personal question: "Do I look at other people's sins with condemnation thinking I am not like them? If so, we need to be careful. Can you think of any examples?
2:5-11
2:5 In verse 5, what does Paul say that is happening to those previously mentioned?
What is the difference between Christian and non-Christian?
2:6 What general principle is stated in this verse?
2:7-11 What two final outcomes are mentioned?
a) In 2:7 what characterized those gaining eternal life?
