Dear Prayer Partners,
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2).
Do you know BFF’s motto?
“Releasing God’s life-changing truth to this generation!”
The word ‘transformation,’ consistent with the BFF motto, has come to mind many times since the new year began. It is a succinct way to describe BFF’s purpose.
The BFF web-site has a fairly strong presence. Our many training resources, published and online, are an amazing gift from God. Paul just had a busy month of preaching and teaching, but there is a greater purpose for doing all these things. The resources are a tremendous help in obtaining that goal, but it is not the goal. Our ultimate goal is simply, “Transformation.”
Think of a person reading a book or listening to a sermon. What do we really want to happen? Do we simply want them to finish reading the book, or make a comment, “That was a great sermon!”? The good goal that God wants for BFF is transformation: bringing powerful growth, victory, and development into people’s lives. Once they become convinced of God’s goodness and His power to transform them, they in turn, want to share that with others.
I was further challenged when I recently asked you to pray for a depressed man in Europe. I know many people and doctors have given up on those addicted to lusts, plagued by worries, broken by bad marriages, and so on. We desire that BFF be that instrument used by God to bring His greater good into people’s lives.
Many people have God’s Word near them but are not being wonderfully changed – transformed – into Christ’s likeness. This is clearly God’s will for us: “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son” (Romans 8:29). If God has made His purpose so clear, then we must incorporate this purpose into our mission, purpose, and life.
So pray for us. Pray hard that people’s lives will be changed into Christ’s glorious image right now on earth. This is what happens when Jesus comes near!
Lots of Thanks!
Linda’s heart is back to NORMAL! Off all meds except one.
Three new study books arrived from the publisher. Two are Bible studies: one on Ephesians and the other on Romans (greatly expanded). The third book is a study guide for Redemption Through the Scriptures: Gaining a Clearer Picture of Christ and His Work.
We thank God for His wonderful purpose of increasing Christ’s image in us.
Kathryn has been accepted to all three colleges of her choice but one no longer offers the major of her interest: Interior Design.

Paul is seeking how to best get resources into different languages. He is making further inquiry both into Chinese and Burmese.
Short Term Mission (STM) to Taiwan and another designation is now being planned. Linda is considering the possibility of accompanying Paul, but is seeking wisdom on this matter.
Paul, Linda and family will be refreshed on our annual trip south to escape the winter. Paul will focus on writing.
Transformation of those who read, hear or watch the BFF resources.
As always, thanks so much for your prayers!
