Circumstances of My Anger

1) Draw a line graph of a recent anger encounter or anyone with which you have an unresolved anger/resentment/hostility.

Anger resolution chart : sample

2) Use a line to note how long each phase of your anger went on. Feel free to use different measurements (hours, years, etc.) Note whether your anger of this situation is fully resolved yet.

Notice that the anger is slowly built up over a week's time and, then followed a short outburst. Slow burning resentment still going on for 3+ days.

3) Explain the meaning of the line graph in your own words including your reason for the anger. After you have done this, go to the next page and fill in the list of persons you have negatively impacted by your anger.
My anger built up from my son John refusing to do things I told him. He left things out. I tried to handle this by bursting out in anger, spanking in anger, and then just leaving the house. Still troubles my soul because it isn't solved. I don't like being near family or home. Dangerous situation
