Three Stages of Christian Growth
Every Christian must identify where they are on this spiritual growth chart. We must ensure that our communion with the Lord is ongoing and good. We must come to recognize what stymies our growth and then aggressively seek more of God’s grace for those areas. Issues like anxiety, bitterness, difficulties in marriage, parenting are signs that spiritual growth is not properly happening. The Lord wants you to grow deeper spiritually. By His grace and through His Word you can grow! God wants us to grow spiritually! New life means His involvement in our lives. Here are a few ways that we know this. The Holy Spirit actively works in the lives of His children. He has told us how to avoid slowing down in our growth. The Lord has even told us how to grow in Christ. This practically means living in such a way that more of Jesus Christ is reflected in what we say, think and do. This is, in essence, discipleship.

This is all the more important with regards to what we believe about Jesus Christ. Interestingly, Luke faced the same problems back at the time after Jesus.
