Developing Plans

Planning helps us to see our need for God's help.

"Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the LORD!" (Isaiah 31:1 NASB)

Only plans that reach 'beyond' us display the glory of God.

Developing Plans

'Developing Plans' is our first principle for church planting. Planning helps us see our need for God's help.

God regularly brings us into situations that we cannot handle on our own. Notice the condemnation on those who rely on their own resources. This is a great problem for those who 'scientifically' plant churches or who have a wealth of resources at their hands.

In the end, God is starting the churches, and we must cooperate with Him. Only in this way does He get the glory.
