The power of truth is often underestimated. We shouldn't. The greatest problem we have is not bringing enough truth into our lives to protect, guide and shape us. Of course, the mere knowledge of truth does not help. We need the truth to actually impact our lives, less we be like the man who looks into the mirror, sees the mess on his face and walks away quickly forgetting about the mess!
BFF has many materials stretching over many disciplines of thought and life. Without going elsewhere, one can gain a lifetime's worth of knowledge just by studying these materials. The problem is that many people do not know how to train or grow. Someone has asked for a curriculum of BFF materials. This web page is a response to that request.
The paths that a person can take through the BFF materials are many. Generally, we recommend that one start at the area of most need in his life. This course itself is designed at a simpler level and reach well into the intermediate discipleship training level. Many materials are still left out. As one is introduced to a certain series, he might want to spend more time focusing on that topic. For example, we have only introduced the one marriage series and a few articles. We have many tens of hours of additional material just on that topic that could be studied.
Good materials are only one aspect of great teaching. The teacher plays a critical role in communicating through his own life example and insights the deep conviction that lie behind each message. The material is designed for the trainer to personalize and shape it with his own life and words. This is more difficult with series, but it needs to be done. BFF wants you as the trainer to adapt the message to your own context and life needs. All the messages are available in web page format. The pdf pages (eBook) are available for printing. but are not necessarily on the web. Contact us. Remember that some of the articles are parts of a larger series. Focus on the one that is directed.
We hope that the materials provided serve as a great stimulus in knowing what can and should be taught. Our motto is "Always be a learner." Our shepherd is The Teacher. He takes each of us on a journey that is always deeply enriching. The truths shared in these many articles by His grace can help introduce His truths into our lives at a quicker pace and thus cause us to grow. He is faithful. Keep a record of what you are learning! Enjoy His fellowship; rejoice in His power!
