We started off building using one square blue block as the foundation.
Notice how it was leaning.
After straightening it out, we managed to add one more block.
But it soon fell. The foundation couldn't take any more weight.
We decided we needed a better foundation!
We took two red rectangular blocks and made a square base out of them.
And look how we could go beyond the height of the former tower.
We could even get higher yet.
Eventually, the base couldn't support more.
The real base, however was not the red blocks but the carpet underneath.
The key:
Watch where you build your towers,
or
be careful on what foundational assumptions you build your life!
