Provision in Recession
Dear Prayer Team,
Nine years have quickly passed by since I knelt weeping before the Lord as to what I was to do in my desperate situation. Only the Mighty God could have brought about all that He has through BFF.
Over the last few months, I have been deeply touched, again and again, by God’s faithful provisions for the BFF ministry and my family. He has caused a song of praise and affection to swell up in my heart.
“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises!” (Psalms 57:7).
Each November I use our finances to testify to God’s faithfulness. 
In spite of all the financial woes that affect giving to nonprofits, God has graciously allowed us to use a large amount of our financial resources ($36,900+) for leadership training and the physical needs of believers in 2009. This is an increase from last year's BFF’s total operating budget (50% > 56%).
Recession might describe the world’s situation but God’s faithfulness working through His people best describes God’s way of providing. Thank you for your faithfulness in making all of this possible. BFF’s participation in these worldwide projects is increasing.
We had a wonderful annual board meeting. I will share in the next prayer letter about the exciting challenges of how I believe God wants us to invest more throughout the world by training Christian leaders and distributing more of discipleship training materials and concepts that God has graciously given us. Please pray as I finish up these plans. We now have almost 2,500 pages on the web.

I have had extra time to focus on planning and to catch up on improving the website. The BFF store page has needed to be updated to my newer computer for two years. I hope to finish this soon.
